Activities Therapist - Geriatric Behavioral Unit
Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit
High School diploma is required, as well as completion of IDPH 36 hour Activities Director curriculum requirements. Knowledgeable of activities and quality of life and able to complete the activities portion of the MDS. Must have excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with other staff as needed.

Graduate of a 75 hour Certified Nurse Assistant program. Ability to adapt to new situations and clients easily. Ability to drive to all areas in the service area in all kinds of weather. Must be able to understand and perform within the FMCH Credo.
Day Shift and would be scheduled every 5th or 6th weekend

Pharmacist
Registered pharmacist that is Iowa licensed or eligible. Hospital experience a plus but not required. Must have good social skills, able to work with physicians and nurses. Recent graduates welcome.

Phlebotomist
Phlebotomist training with certification or graduated as a CMA with certification required. Must be able to work well with others, be detail oriented, organized, energetic, adaptable to change and be able to work in a busy/fast paced setting. Candidates must be able to communicate well with patients of all ages. Must show proficiency in neonate and pediatric blood draws.
Full Time, Monday - Friday Evening shift, 4pm - 12am
Physical Therapist
Physical Therapist licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Iowa. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. Excellent clinical reasoning required. Will be evaluating a treating a variety of diagnoses in outpatients, inpatients and SNF population in a rural based hospital. Experience in Meditech a plus.
Monday - Friday 40 hours per week, with as needed coverage every 6th weekend.
RN - Birthplace
RN with a Current Iowa license. OB experience in labor and delivery, mother/baby care and critical newborn. BLS, NRP, Basic Fetal Heart Monitoring. Ability to work well in a team setting. Candidate must have great communication and critical thinking skills.
Night Shift 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., every 3rd weekend and every other holiday.

RN - Emergency Room
RN with a Current Iowa license. 1yr experience in Acute Care or Critical Care setting preferred. BLS/ACLS/PALS/Basic Telemetry monitoring course/TNCC required but can be offered upon hire. Ability to multitask and prioritize patient needs based upon acuity. Upbeat personality and great communication skills are a must. The Emergency Room RN is responsible for identifying patient needs and priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Care Setting. Is able to triage safely, rapidly and accurately, every patient that enters the emergency care system. RN’s coordinate care between other professional disciplines as needed.

Registered Nurse. Preferred 2 years’ experience of acute care Nursing. Home Health Care experience a plus. Weekends – on call every 3rd weekend and 4 – 5 nights per month

Ultrasound Technologist
Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to demonstrated anatomical or physiological structures of the human body for diagnostic purposes. Produce quality images as directed by the radiologists and physicians for the diagnosis or treatment of anatomic or physiologic disorders. Demonstrate knowledge of general and cross sectional anatomy, technical factors, and basic computer skills. Function to work independently and in a cooperative manner in teamwork oriented atmosphere within the department as well as hospital wide. Must be able to provide exceptional care and satisfaction skills to all customers of Great River Health. Performs: General Abdominal Sonography, Vascular Sonography (Doppler), OB/GYN Sonography, Small parts Sonography on all populations. Basic computer skills as well as PACS knowledge. Required ARDMS certification and prefer ARRT registered and competent in all General X-ray procedures.
