The FMCH Sleep Lab is geared towards promoting the health benefits of getting adequate restful sleep. Studies now indicate that sleep has become as important to your overall good health as diet and exercise. There are many things that can keep someone from getting enough sleep and our sleep experts are here to help.
The FMCH Sleep Lab is for individuals with sleep problems caused by physical, psychological, environmental, or neurological factors. This includes people who experience excess snoring, sleep apnea, nighttime leg movements, or sleep problems originating from illness or various life-style stressors. In fact, a myriad number of factors can affect sleep, with patients experiencing difficulties in either falling asleep or staying asleep. The Sleep Lab will help identify causes of patient sleep problems and work to find a
solution for a better nights rest.

How Do I Sign Up?

The first step to getting a good night’s sleep is talking to your primary care doctor about your concerns. You can take our Initial Sleep Questionnaire to help identify some of your sleep shortcomings. If your doctor agrees that you would benefit from a Sleep Study and that it is medically necessary, ask them for a referral to the FMCH Sleep Lab. Most insurance will provide coverage as long as admission to the Center is deemed medically necessary. However, you should always check with your medical insurer beforehand and follow whatever procedure their company requires for insurance coverage.
